We are a community handbell choir dedicated to taking our music ministry to Northeast Ohio. The group was founded in 2000 by 6 people from Strongsville who rang 3 octaves of borrowed handbells, and has since grown to 17 people from 7 communities. We own 5-1/2 octaves of handbells and 7 octaves of hand chimes with percussion instruments, keyboard, PA system, and a trailer. We rehearse 2 plus hours a week on Saturday mornings and/or Monday evenings, 11 months of the year, taking a break in July. The group has traveled to cities in 6 states to participate in handbell festivals. We typically do 20+ concerts a year. In 2010, Celebration Ringers expanded its ministry, adding travels to area churches to complement their worship services. Also in 2010, a teenage handbell choir was formed, Celebration Teens, to play in the area. Those Teen choir members graduated from 6 high schools in 2014 and went off to college. Stay tuned for the formation of another teen choir in the near future. Please view our Celebration Ringers Brochure.
